A Major Tourist AttractionSaturday, 10 June 2006 To help boost tourism a privately-owned major Zoo based tourist attraction was planning to diversify into a new product line that will complement its current business. The client was confident that the proposed business idea will attract additional inter-state and international tourists into the region.
The client needed to expand on its current premise for the proposed idea and required a marketing plan to be submitted for land acquision and approval. In addition, the marketing plan serves to guide the client in its new business idea.
Besides the business idea, the client also wanted professional marketing advice, to encourage visits among its target audience. The client identified several business potentials but preferred to seek professional advice on the recommendations.
To provide a sound foundation for the marketing plan, AMRS conducted secondary research to understand the business environment of the client. AMRS then conducted primary research with the target audience, to gather insightful information on the Client's current business and proposed business idea.
Through the market research, AMRS identified significant market potential for the Client's current business and proposed business idea. AMRS developed a comprehensive business plan that included a substantial marketing component that capitalises on the environmental factors, emerging trends and opportunities in the market. The plan focused on the client's current business, but demonstrated how the proposed business idea would enhance the overall business and contribute to the growing tourism in the region. |
