Sydney Car FestivalThursday, 3 July 2003 Sydney Car Festival The Client had a vision to organise a proposed Sydney Car Festival possibly in Homebush Bay. Although the Client has vast experience in previous Summernats shows in the ACT, the Client commissioned a marketing research consultancy to develop a comprehensive Business Plan to spearhead the car festival. When completed, the business plan was to also serve as a proposal for potential investors and more importantly, acts as the blueprint and benchmark for future shows. The Client furnished AMRS with information on the proposed car festival. AMRS then conducted secondary research to establish the competition and to better understand the market environment. AMRS identified the strengths of the proposed car festival and concentrated on how to market those strengths to the target audience. The initial draft of the business plan was completed within a month and submitted to Client. Together with the client we revised the plan into the agreed final plan incorporating necessary budgets and cash flows.
The show is now set in place and committed for taking place in 2004. |
